CHEFS NEEDED - IMMEDIATE VACANCY (hot kitchen & pastry)!

Be creative and come join our team ! Upperhouse Kitchen and Dessert is a fine food cafe by Pastry Manners, located in the heart of Bangsar (public transport conveniently available). We serve fine dining hot dishes and desserts. We are also doing production to supply to cafes and FnB businesses around Klang Valley.

Opportunity to work and learn with our professional and experienced chefs. Our head chefs and sous chefs have worked with some of the most prestigious chefs from The World's 50 Best Restaurants.
We are currently hiring the following positions :

1. Chef de Partie (hot kitchen / pastry / bakery)
  • Preferably with at least 2 to 3 years of experience in hot kitchen / pastry. 
  • Good salary package. We pay EPF, Socso, Annual Leave, Public Holidays. (Salary RM 2000 - RM 4000 depending on experience)
  • Working hours - (8am - 4pm, 4pm - 12am) * off on Mondays.
  • Freedom to bring your menu creativity to reality.
  • Report to Head Chef for all kitchen station and ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Responsible in quality control and food safety.
  • Managing and training kitchen staffs in food preparation and cooking menu items.
  • Able to minimize food wastage and able to practice First in First out.
2. Commis Chef / Apprentice / Fresh Graduate (hot kitchen / pastry / bakery)
  • Preferably with at least 1 year working experience in hot kitchen / pastry.
  • Good salary package. We pay EPF, Socso, Annual Leave, Public Holidays. (Salary RM 1200 - RM 2500 depending on experience)
  • Working hours - (8am - 4pm, 4pm - 12am) * off on Mondays.
  • Report to Chef de Partie for all kitchen station and ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Able to prepare / cook all menu items according to standard recipes. 
  • Responsible in quality control and food safety.
  • Able to minimize food wastage and able to practice First in First out.
  • Eager to learn and passionate about cooking / pastry making.
3. Kitchen Steward / Kitchen Helper
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen.
  • Ensure all plates are ready for service. 
  • Working hours - (8am - 4pm, 4pm - 12am) * off on Mondays.
Other information:
  • Increment will be given after 3 months probation according to performance.
  • Training will be provided prior to the start of the job.
  • Public transport conveniently available. (LRT, bus)
  • For pastry candidates : plus point for those who have experience in chocolate and sugar making skills.
